All these straps are woven with waist loom in the town of Jalieza, Oaxaca by Mexican artisans. Many designs are typical of their culture and many others we have created and imagined together with them. This type of weaving has been transmitted from generation to generation since pre-Hispanic times and it is one of the most complex processes due to the technique and the amount of threads that form the warp.
